Rudram 11 - Zagreb, Croatia (3rd and 4th of March 2018)

Rudram 11 is a Veda Union project with the goal to organize 11 times continuous chanting of Sri Rudram Camakam hymns at 11 different locations in Europe. These magnificent hymns will thus be chanted overall 121 times in different locations by numerous devotees of God and will spread the sacred vibration throughout European subcontinent.

The final eleventh Rudram chanting event is going to be held in Zagreb, Croatia in March, 2018.

Saturday, 3rd of March:
  • 09:00 - 10:00 – Registration
  • 10:00 - 10:30 – Introductory welcome address
  • 10:30 - 11:30 – Ganapati puja and Sai paduka puja*
  • 11:30 - 12:30 – Inner significance of Maha Kailas Yantra puja**
  • 12:30 - 13:00 – Closing prayers
  • 13:00 - 15:30 – Lunch
  • 15:30 - 19:15 – Worship of 1000 lingams (Sahasra Linga Archana and Abhishekam)
  • 19:15 - 20:00 – Bhajans and closing prayers

* Mrs. Veena Patel travels around the globe for the last 15 years with silver Sai Padukas, ‘Universal Padukas for the World’, which represent the lotus feet of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The Padukas are blessed by Sai Baba directly, thus bringing the grace of divine blessings to all who will participate in this ritual of worshiping His divine lotus feet in the form of padukas.

** Dr. Sekhar Boddupalli has been blessed by Bhagwan to share his love for Namasmarana via his energetic programs about the potency of Namasmarana. Inspired by Bhagwan’s clarion call, he has extensively traveled all over the world, including European countries, Canada, USA, South Africa, and India elaborating on application of Vedas in our daily lives. He was instrumental in organizing 11 Ati Rudra Parayana and with His grace 3 Ati Rudra Maha Yajna (2014 in Atlanta, 2015 in Badrinath and 2017 in Tiruvannamalai). Dr. Boddupalli is a PhD. in biochemistry from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and currently serves as President of a multinational company subsidiary.

Sunday, 4th of March:
  • 08:30 - 12:00 – Ceremonial bathing of lingam and 11 times Sri Rudram Camakam chanting (Panchamruta Abhishekam and Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam)
  • 12:00 - 13:00 – Bhajans and closing prayers
  • 13:00 - 14:00 – Lunch

Spiritual practice (sadhana)

All registrants are requested to adhere to the following 40 days daily sadhana (starting 22nd of January to 2nd of March):

  • Dedicate 30 min for daily prayers (see below) without multitasking with other activities such as driving, daily chores, etc. Adhere to a specific time and place as much as possible.
  • Practice ceiling on desires minimizing sensual distractions and conserving food, money, time, energy, and utmost reverence to the 5 elements of nature.
  • Absolutely No Alcohol, No Meat, No Eggs, and No Smoking.
  • Observe spiritual silence to the extent possible.

Daily Prayers (recommended format): 3 OMs, Ganapati Prarthana (Gananam Tva), 3 Gayatri, Sri Rudram, Durga Suktam, 3 Sai Gayatri, Kshama prarthana.

Food during the event

Simple but sumptuous pure vegetarian food will be served for the attendees at the end of the programme.


Organization is done as a service to one and all. Attendees should cover only their traveling and accommodation expenses. Donations, given in true spirit of devotion, will be accepted at the event.
